What is the ATEC Startup Competition?

​ATEC is an alumni-led technology conference in Asia, welcoming startups from premier universities’ network. The ATEC Startup Competition is the annual competition organized by ATEC.

Competition finalists will compete by pitching before an audience and VC judging panel at the ATEC conference in December 2025.

Who can Apply?

Entry to the competition is nomination by alumni clubs only.

Open to all industries

Seed to Series B funding stages

Must be Asia-related (but can be based anywhere!)

No alumni affiliation required

How to Apply?

CUIL will complete a nomination form to officially nominate your startup. ATEC will then email you to confirm that you accept the nomination by completing an application on the ATEC PitchTape submission platform.

Meanwhile, please be ready for:

Video-based application

10-page pitch deck

Language: English preferred, but Chinese, Japanese, and Korean accepted

Alumni Club Signups Close: Apr 18, 2025

Startup Applications Due: May 9, 2025

Semi-Finalists Announced: Mid Jun, 2025

Semi-Finals Live Event: Sep, 2025
